We highly recommend this zip line experience. We’ve tried a couple in Gatlinburg, and this one was definitely worth the extra few dollars.
Smoky Mountain Outdoors
White Water Rafting down the Pigeon River. Class 3 to 4 rapids. Tubing in Townsend! (about 30 minutes away) – This is one of our favorite activities! For around $9, you can tube down a river for hours of fun! Great for all ages. Our favorite vendor is Smoky Mountain River Rat.
Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park
Take an aerial tramway for a ride to this ski area, amusement park, indoor ice skating, wildlife encounter, Alpine Slide, water rides and more!
Smoky Mountain Riding Stables
Laid back horseback riding through trails in the mountain.
Sugarland Riding Stables
A second option for horseback riding. Both of similar calibers.
Bent Creek Golf Village
One of the few golf courses actually in Gatlinburg. It’s challenging and scenic, but not the highest rated in terms of quality.
Dollywood (Pigeon Forge)
One of the world’s best theme parks! Roller Coasters, attractions, music and more!
Dollywood's Splash Country Water Park (Pigeon Forge)
Right next to the main Dollywood Theme park, this water park adventure makes for a great summertime activity!
Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster (Pigeon Forge)
The longest downhill alpine coaster ride in the country.
There’s a dozen of these around Pigeon Forge. “The Track” is the highest rated one that we have found.
